Audio Stories
I love stories in any form, including audio. I came to Maine to study audio documentary and fell in love with the medium. Here are some audio stories I’ve produced.
Going Wild with Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant
PBS Nature’s Going Wild is a multi-award-winning and NAACP-nominated podcast about the human drama of saving animals.
It brings to light the experiences of scientists of color and dives deep into a topic that most nature/science shows don't talk about — how race and science intersect.
Some of my favorite Going Wild episodes:
Is Water Alive?
Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, Urban Ocean Lab co-founder, marine biologist, policy expert and co-creator of the acclaimed podcast How to Save a Planet, explores solutions to the climate emergency, including how we can protect our bodies of water.
Fight and Flight: Christian Cooper’s Story
Christian Cooper, host of Nat Geo’s Extraordinary Birder and author, explores how his work as a Marvel comics writer helped him become an everyday superhero and advocate for wildlife, and how a life spent birdwatching (long before the infamous incident in Central Park) prepared him to thrive as a gay Black man in America today.
The Invisible Organism That’s Saving the Planet
Dr. Rosa Vásquez Espinoza, chemical biologist, Nat Geo explorer and award-winning artist, speaks to her mission to unlock the full potential of Earth’s microbe species for medicine and to encourage us to pay more attention to the Amazon rainforest’s biodiversity.

Mosque Is Where the Home Is
When I first moved to Maine I stumbled onto an unlikely story about my new home, that Maine is the site of the earliest mosque in America. I became obsessed with finding the muslim community behind that mosque. Who were they? Where are they now? As I dig deeper, I discovered that the roots of my obsession actually hits much closer to home than I realized.

In a world shaped by loss and unspoken love, one woman changes the course of her family’s emotional reality with three simple words.
