This is a book cover design for Nighttime Tales: a Collection of Children Stories to Tell in the Dark. As the title suggests Nighttime Tales is a collection of scary children stories. Even though the book is targeted toward younger audience, I wanted to design a cover that’s more sophisticated with a compelling illustration that captures the mystical qualities of the stories and yet appropriate for a younger audience.
